Our stencils are made from thick, 10 mil Mylar, which some people mistakenly believe will result in a stiff, unbending product. Not so! The plastic remains flexible, which gives the artist better control over the template, even when they want to paint cylindrical surfaces or bend the painting around rounded corners! This is especially critical when painting surfaces such as fabric, where you need to be able to go with the flow, so to speak.
